Pinfold Building Consultancy
Is dedicated to providing quality local professional construction advice to both residential and commercial clients in Yorkshire and the North of England.
The firm has been set up by Karl Tumman, a Chartered Building Surveyor who, since qualifying in 1994, has gained a wealth of experience in the surveying and construction arenas.
From leaving school, Karl initially commenced work as a surveying technician with British Rail Property Board and later with Carter Jonas with whom he completed his formal studies and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. Since then, Karl has worked in a number of senior surveying roles, encompassing a diverse range of building surveying and project management work across the United Kingdom.
Karl’s experience covers the breadth of building surveying activities – residential, commercial, rural, public works, conservation – and latterly work for a multi-national loss adjusting firm dealing with, often, complex constructional claims.
Being the son of a stonemason, Karl has always maintained a strong affinity with the construction industry and architectural design. His experience ranges from analysis of individual defects to the project management of multi-million pound construction projects.
